Currently openAOS supports two generations of Archos devices:
Generation 6 devices (also known as Internet Media Tablets – IMT):
- Archos 5
- Archos 5 3g (including SFR model)
- Archos 7
Generation 7 device (also known as Internet Tablet – IT):
- Archos 5 IT
Please note that those hardware generations are quite different and thus not everything will apply to all devices. Always check the tags and categories of an openAOS blog post or the specific wiki page for hints to find out if it applies to your device.
Currently unsupported devices (this may or may not change in the future):
Generation 8 devices (also known as Internet Tablets – IT) - pending SDE release:
- Archos 28
- Archos 32
- Archos 43
- Archos 70
- Archos 101
other devices:
- All smaller models without SDE firmware (Archos 3, Archos2 etc.)
- hardware generation 5
- 605, 605F, 705, 405, etc.
- hardware generation 4
- 604, 704, 504, 404, etc.
- Archos HomeTablet (HT) series (different hardware with RockChip,
