Description

FroYo? (and MeeGo?, and Debian) always reports that there is 75% of battery charge.

Correct, both kevin (ArchosHelper) and johnsq have some code for this.
As IIRC the ATMEGA reports battery voltage and this has not been integrated into the kernel there are two options:

a) implement this in kernel
b) implement this as a daemon in userland that updates the proper sysfs value(s)

I do have some specs and documentation, if someone wants to work on this, please contact me.
Kevin's logic would be a very good basis for both approaches as gen6 and gen7 are quite simmilar (but not identical).
