Airplane mode can not be disabled (Bull RC1)

Reported by: DrunkenAndroid Owned by: divx118
Priority: minor Milestone: Android 2.3 C
Component: Android 2.3 Version: Android 2.3 dev snapshot
Keywords: Cc:

Description

After putting the Bull RC1 image into airplane mode (to disable WiFi?), it can not be disabled. When airplane mode is selected, it puts an airplane in the status bar. This never goes away, even after a reboot. After it goes into this mode, I have not found anyway to automatically enable WiFi? when powering on. WiFi? can be manually enabled after each reboot, but the airplane icon remains in the status bar.

The Power Control Widget contains an optional Airplane Button. This button can be used to disable airplane mode (even after a reboot). This button seems to work, while there are problems with the Airplane Mode selection in the settings app.
