alpha4&5 stuck with open OS

well, I tried to install Froyo alpha 4 and 5 but it keep stuck with open OS picture and then the archos 5 IT turn off, I'm very disappointed with it, now I have to format it and loss all applecations there

did you adapt the menu.lst file with gedit kate or something similar?

it normaly searchs for froyo.img

the easiest would be to name your froyo image like this! ;)

should solve this if not check for the right name in menu.lst!

and make sure to use latest initram and zimage! ;)

like this it should work

ps: unpack froyoarchive once that you have froyo-alpha....img that speeds up first boot a lot!

if you have problems not to see bootmenu then i suggest updating zimage and initramfs again ;) delete (save it before on pc) menu.lst ;)

this helped me twice ;)

maybe it looks for angstrom did you leave angstrom file from sde installation on a5it?
if not put it there again ;)

and please make sure to have archosfirmware in openaos/update like in the tutorial! (extracted with aostools ;) ) otherwhise you cant enter original donut! ;) when updating menu.lst is created ;) then it should work eventhough you dont have angström image anymore! ;)
